We've completely rebuilt Audit1 from the ground up. This guide walks you through exactly what's changing and what you need to do — personalized for your role.
The classic portal (portal.audit1.com) will be retired on April 30. Follow the steps below to transition smoothly.
I write Workers' Comp policies and collect premiums
I have a WC policy and report payroll
I process payroll and deliver wage data
I manage carrier relationships and books of business
You're moving from a shared login at portal.audit1.com to your own dedicated carrier portal with full branding control.
Your dedicated carrier portal is live at carrier.audit1.com. You'll receive credentials from our team — same email, new password.
Go to Carrier PortalAll your employers and policies have been migrated. Check the Insureds tab to verify everything looks correct — business names, policy numbers, effective dates, and rates.
Your insured employers have already been invited to the new platform. You can track their onboarding progress in real-time from your carrier portal — see which steps they've completed, which payroll provider they selected, and their bank account status. Updates every 30 seconds.
Things you couldn't do before:
After April 30, 2026, portal.audit1.com will be retired. All functionality is already available in your new carrier portal. Start using it now so the transition is seamless.
Our team will personally walk you through the new portal and help migrate anything that needs attention.
You're getting a dedicated portal designed just for employers — easier to use, mobile-friendly, with full visibility into your premiums.
Your carrier will send you an invitation email with a link to set up your account on the new platform. Check your inbox (and spam folder) for an email from your carrier or from Audit1.
If you haven't received one yet, contact your carrier or reach out to us.
Click the link in the email. You'll walk through a simple 7-step setup — it works on your phone:
Your progress saves automatically every 2 seconds. Close the page, come back later — nothing lost.
See step-by-step screenshots →Once you complete the wizard, your payroll data starts flowing automatically (if you use a connected payroll company). Log in anytime to see your dashboard, premiums, files, and employee details.
The old portal at portal.audit1.com will stop working on April 30, 2026. Once you've completed the onboarding wizard, you won't need it — everything is in your new portal.
Contact your carrier or reach out to us directly. We'll make sure you get set up.
You're getting a dedicated portal, new delivery options, sandbox testing, and — if you want it — AI-powered autonomous reporting.
Your dedicated payroll company portal is at payrollcompany.audit1.com. You'll receive credentials from our team.
Go to Payroll PortalThe old delivery method (legacy API at api.audit1.com or Azure SFTP) is being retired. Here's what to switch to:
| Old Method | New Method | What To Do |
|---|---|---|
| api.audit1.com (TransferCode/SecretKey) | REST API at apiv2.audit1.com | New API key — we'll provide it |
| Azure SFTP (old credentials) | New SFTP (34.170.85.233:2022) | New credentials — same file format |
| N/A | Auto-Connector (QBO, Paylocity, UKG, AW) | Authorize once, automatic forever |
| N/A | Webhooks, Manual Upload, AI Agents | New options — configure in portal |
Your file format doesn't change. Our Column Cognitive Recognition engine handles 4,400+ header variants automatically. Send what you have.
Before switching production traffic, test your new connection:
Once your test passes, point your production delivery to the new endpoint. We'll run both old and new in parallel during the transition period so nothing is lost.
Parallel running period: Both systems will accept your data until April 30. After that, only the new system.
The legacy API at api.audit1.com and old SFTP endpoints will stop accepting data on April 30, 2026. Complete your switch before then.
Our team will send you new SFTP/API credentials and walk you through the switch. Same data, new pipes.
Your carriers are moving to the new platform. Here's what that means for you and your book of business.
Your carrier partners are migrating to dedicated portals. Reach out to them to understand their timeline and how they'll manage policies you're associated with on the new platform.
Your agency information has been migrated to the new system. Policies where you're the producing agency will show your agency name and details. Your carriers can now manage the full policy lifecycle digitally.
A dedicated Agency Portal is on the roadmap. It will give you direct visibility into your book of business, commission tracking, and policy oversight across all your carrier partners.
In the meantime, work with your carriers through their portal — they can add you as an aggregator on any policy.
The old portal at portal.audit1.com will be retired on April 30, 2026. Coordinate with your carrier partners before then.
We'll help you understand what's changing and connect you with your carrier partners.
